Direct Line offer £20 towards the cost of flea prevention
The summer is here and it’s the perfect time to treat your pet against flea. Actually it’s never been so easy nor cheap with Direct Line giving new customers up to £20 back on flea prevention costs and Zooplus.co.uk discounting anti flea products.
Does your pet suffer from flea infestation?
Fleas are the main source of itching for cats and dogs, so if your pet scratches itself often, it’s worth having a flea check. The 1st possibility is to use a comb through the pet’s coat and see whether you’ve captured any fleas. Another option is to have your pet sit over a paper sheet and scratch its back. If your pet is infected by fleas, you’ll find tiny black spots on the paper. Add water on top of it. Should they turn red, they’re definitely fleas. FREE flea treatment from Direct Line
Direct Line, which used to offer £20 towards vaccination, now offer a FREE £20 voucher towards the cost of flea prevention treatment if you take out pet insurance before the 30th September 2008. DL will send you a cheque of up to £20 provided:
- you send back the voucher
- the flea treatment occurs within 3 months of your pet insurance purchase
You can buy treatments online (which is cheaper, so you can get more) but postage will not be reimbursed by DL so it’s worth buying anti-flea products alongside other pet supplies online.
