Pet insurer Pet Plan introduces ‘PetPeople’

UK no. 1 pet insurer Pet Plan recently announced the release of their new magazine ‘PetPeople‘. The semi-annual publication is targeted at the company’s customers only and takes its name from the long-existing tagline ‘Pet Plan, the pet people’.
Direct Marketing Manager Margi Salih says: “We are proud that so many outstanding contributors agreed to work on the first issue, including dog-loving travel writer Gavin Bell. It’s also rewarding to have content from the many charities we support and from our pet-loving clients.”
In truth, this is a clear move aimed to increase customer retention and policy renewal rates (one of the key stats used by companies to monitor their customer satisfaction). The pet insurance market is becoming more and more competitive, and firms that genuinely care about their customers and pet healthcare may well develop an edge over their competitors.
